The possibility of sleeping next to sharks in A Coruña returns to the Finisterrae Aquarium with a proposal designed for children that combines learning, socializing, and a very special night among aquariums.
Promoted by the City Council of A Coruña and the Association of Friends of the House of Science, the activity —also known as “Sleeping with sharks”— offers marine biology workshops and the experience of spending the night in the Nautilus room surrounded by de peces and sharks.
Dates, times and ages

The convened sessions will take place October 24-25 and November 28-29, in both cases from 20:00 p.m. on Friday until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
The proposal is aimed at girls and boys aged 10 and 11, that is, born between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2015, with an informative approach adapted to their age.
The capacity per shift is very limited: 20 places, so it is recommended that you apply as soon as the registration process opens.
The overnight stay takes place in the Nautilus room of the Aquarium Finisterrae, an immersive space where, in addition to the emblematic shark Gaston, you can observe other specimens, including two young players added this year.
Registration, places and price

La Pre-registration will open on Monday, October 6 at 9:00 a.m. and will be conducted exclusively through an online form. Preference will be given to minors who have not participated in previous editions, and in the event of high demand, the award will be made in strict order of request; the organization will send confirmation only to the selected individuals.
The cost per participant is € 45, with a reduced rate of €20 for members from the Friends of the House of Science Association. The fee covers participation in the educational activity and overnight supervision.
For the night it is necessary to bring sleeping bag, mat and toiletry bag, as well as food and utensils for dinner and breakfast, since catering service is not included.
If brothers or sisters are registered, It is not necessary to complete an individual form for each one; the organization takes this into account in the registration process itself.
In addition to the playful component, the proposal seeks bringing marine science closer to children, foster respect for ecosystems and debunk myths about sharks through hands-on activities and tailored explanations.
An activity with limited places, closed dates and a clear program: Marine biology workshops, an evening in the Nautilus room, and learning in a unique environment with the support of the Aquarium's educational team.
